The Founders

Perennial Sports Group was founded by two former D1-Athletes, individuals with data analytics and legal backgrounds, to guide and prepare athletes at each stage of their athletic careers.

Christian Berry +

Christian Berry competed as a varsity athlete at Princeton University where he majored in Operations Research and Engineering. Over his four years at Princeton, Christian had the opportunity to learn under professional sports executives to develop an understanding how leagues utilize analytics to derive insight for player-contract negotiation, draft selection, and roster construction analysis. Following graduation, Christian worked across firms on Wall Street developing analytical models for financial institutions before moving down to Austin, Texas to found PSG.

Braxton Wilks +

Braxton Wilks, JD competed in collegiate athletics as a college baseball player at Kansas State University, McLennan (Waco, TX), Abilene Christian University, where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, and Virginia Commonwealth University, where he pursued a Master’s of Science in Finance. After hanging up his cleats, Braxton enrolled at Baylor University School of Law, where he received his juris doctorate (J.D.) in 2021. Before founding PSG, Braxton worked for two years as a Corporate, Mergers and Acquisitions attorney at Norton Rose Fulbright LLP in Houston, Texas, and two years as a Wealth Preservation attorney at Winstead PC in Austin, Texas.
